In this special event organised by the artist´s association of which I form part, I will present an award to the ex-director of the Carmen Centre for Contemporary Culture (CCCC) who was recently sacked by the right wing government.
Oct 2023 - Jan 2024 Exhibition Queer Ecologies. Naturally Subversive Aberrations.
The Blue Wedding Book alongside the #Ecoqueerplanet banner and Grotesqueer drawings are part of the collective exhibition in the arts centre La Panera (Lleida). Other artists in this first major exhibition on the subject in Spain curated by Christian Alonso include Beth Stephens and Annie Sprinkle, O.R.G.I.A., Brigitte Baptiste and Guiu Gimeno Bardis. June-July 2023 Exhibition: InsuMisa
“InsuMisa" (translation: disobedient, a play on words since misa in Spanish means religious mass). This participatory choral ceremony, based on a queer songbook introduced between the covers of a book of Catholic masses, was held on 29th June, to commemorate the Stonewall Riots. Remnants of the action were exhibited in the gallery Fundación La Posta, whilst the texts in the songbook escaped its walls, in the form of street art, infecting the local neighbourhood as queer propaganda.
May-July 2023 Exhibition: Cultura Online 2023
Our videos Transexpace and Unofficial House of Bent Tour were selected to form part of this exhibition at the CCCC in Valencia which can also be consulted online in the Viewpoints that go beyond gender section on the centre´s webpage.
April 2023 Workshop: Queer Models
This project, selected as part of the UPV´s PC_Acts 2023 call out, began with two workshops on gender play as a form of political activism followed by a photo session where photographer Martin Kámen documented a wide variety of gender expression with participants from the queer and trans scene here in Valencia. The portraits will be the focus of an exhibition at the UPV in autumn.

Nov 2022 Performance: Xativa exDRAGavanza
I took part in this, probably the first drag cabaret in Xativa, home of the Erreria (House of Bent) organised by Madame Jojo star Juana la Cubana. It was a sell out and promises to be the first of many!
Nov/Dec 2022 Exhibition: Trans Territory
Solo show in the artist run artspace Fantastik Lab (Valencia) based on recordings made in different landscapes documenting a trans presence in a non urban environment. The installation is also a lo tech invocation of a world without borders between peoples, species, classes or sexes. Perhaps a manifestation of what here in Spain is called "agroqueer". Parallel activities included a queer choir event of vocal expression, the presentation of the #Ecoqueerplanet catalogue and a session of videoart "Roots, Tentacles and Glitter".
Oct 2022 Performance: Rihihiu
As part of the Rihihui festival which celebrates local popular culture with a feminist perspective we will be carrying out a festive parade and participatory ritual in the company of the majorettes of Santa Barbara, accompanied by the municipal band, Unió Musical Jaume Balmes, and Luzbel de Montiel, a local drag queen.
Sept 2022 Performance: TranSisters: Clara, Rampova & Me
My first theatre show in over 20 years returns as part of the Carme Teatre´s cycle of LGTB theatre.Based on my relationship with two local legends who together formed part of a radical cabaret group Ploma 2 in the 1980´s the show mixes their songs with original material.A musical hommage which reflects on Franco´s repressive laws against homosexuals, the politics of AIDS, and relationships of sorority within the queer community.
June 2022 Exhibition: #EcoQueerPlanet
This exhibition, in the Sala Biblioteca of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, is a collective exploration of ecofeminism and queer ecology which includes documentation of the P.I.N.Q. Park project and my recent Terra Love performance alongside the work of other artists and the results of the Ecotransformaciones workshops carried out by La Erreria (House of Bent).

A performative conference about my artistic practice including a participatory ritual "How to Heal the Albufera Natural Park" organized by IVAM (Valencia). The conference is a presentation of the Ecogender projects, the Histeria Natural cycle and my ecosex collaborations.

December 2021 Performance: Gala Reconocimientos AVVAC
As part of the AVVAC days at the Centro Octubre in Valencia, Graham, in the role of La Ciskar, trans mc based on the infamous ex-director of IVAM (Consuelo Ciscar) hosted the closing gala, which included an awards style ceremony in recognition of the work of different sectors of the artistic community. Those "recognised" included Rampova (artist), ideadestroyingmuros (collective), the Capella de Alcoy(space) and El Temps des Arts (press). In colaboration with filmaker Jesus Peralta, La Ciskar promoted the days and the association in a series of short videos.
November 2021 Performative Conference: Enredos Ecoqueers
As part of the online symposium AAAA* (Art, Alliances, Affections and Something else) organized by the Miguel Hernandez University of Elche Graham gave a performative conference based on his work which ended with an invitation to the conference goers to take part in a participatory online choir.
October 2021 Exhibition and Ritual: How to Heal...
As part of the biennial AVAN organised by the University of Castellón my work was included in the exhibition Les Cures, la Sabiduria...Alteritats (Care, Wisdom... Otherness) in Abadia 7 (Vilafranca) where I also carried out the "How to Heal the World Bank" ritual.
July 2021 Award: Star Award
The amazing “Encuentros en el Mar” festival in the Canary Islands honoured us with their Star Award in recognition of the Erreria (House of Bent)´s work promoting (and creating!) queer & trans-feminist art and culture.
July 2021 Performance: P.I.N.Q. Park Gomera
The latest opening ceremony of the P.I.N.Q. Park project took place in the Discovery Botanic gardens on the island of La Gomera whose name refers to the fact that Columbus sailed from there on the famous voyage in 1492 when he “discovered” the new world of the Americas. The ceremony included a colaboration with a local silbadora- whistling parts of the text in the unique whistled language of the island.
June 2021 Exhibition: Territoris Invertits
The altered book El Renaixement Mediterrani Queer (The Mediterranean Queer Renaissance) is on display as part of this collective exhibition which unites work related to the experience of sexual dissidents/ queers living in the area of the mediterranean.
May 2021 Web series: Ni Naiz Naizena (I am what I am)
An episode of this documentary web series about the experiences of 10 trans people is dedicated to me and my work.
March 2021 Video: Unofficial House of Bent Tour
This video is a camp institutional critique based on our recent installation in the De Reüll 1990-2020 exhibition curated by Rafa Tormo Cuenca at the CCCC Cultural Centre in Valencia.
Feb 2021 Publication: Imagining Queer Europe Now and Then
My text based on my performative lecture Antitainment 70:Radical Drag, Performance and Politics which analysed the differences in LGTB cultures in Spain and the UK in the seventies has been published in this special edition of the Third Text journal.
Dec 2020 Exhibition: De Reüll 1990-2020
Our House of Bent installation is on display in this collective exhibition curated by Rafa Tormo Cuenca at the CCCC Cultural Centre from December 2020 to February 2021. It is based on the collection of La Erreria, our house-museum in Xàtiva and breaks the usual hierarchies of the art world mixing artworks by queer and feminist artists with assemblages and craftwork.
Dec 2020 Exhibition: The Institution within me
My video installation Construyendo Consuelo forms part of this collective exhibition organized by the arts collective FEMART in Ca la Dona (Barcelona) from December 2020 to February 2021. The installation documents a series of transfeminist actions I carried out between 2011 and 2014 in the role of La Ciskar, a parody of Consuelo Ciscar the controversial former director of IVAM (The Valencian Modern Art Museum) and includes press clippings and material collected for an alternative hysteria of 21st Century Valencian Art.
Oct 2020 Exhibition: Cultura Online CCCC Culture Centre (Valencia)
I am super happy to participate in this exhibition with the video Confinement Rap. The exhibition opens at the Centro del Carmen de Cultura Contemporánea in Valencia on the 22nd of October and all the work will also be broadcast online on a specially constructed site.

June 2020 Publication: EcoFutures
We are really happy to form part of the recently published Dossier on Queer, Feminist and Decolonial Ecologies edited by Diana Giorgiu, Katie Goss and Sofia Vranou and coordinated by Cuntemporary Arts. It is based on the incredible Ecofutures festival they organised in London in 2019. The publication includes texts by Anna Tokareva, Amelia Goldberg and Amanda Monti amongst others and includes Graham´s article on The Participatory Rituals of Transgender Shaman Geyserbird. Junio/Julio 2023 Exposición:InsuMisa
Ceremonia coral participativa basada en la expresión vocal de lemas utilizados en manifestaciones. La base de esta acción coral, celebrada el día 29 de Junio para conmemorar la Revuelta de Stonewall, es un cancionero cuir escrito entre las portadas de un libro de misas católicas. Restos de la acción se exhibieron en la galería Fundación La Posta, mientras los textos del cancionero escaparon a sus paredes, en la forma de arte urbano, para infectar el barrio como propaganda queer.

Abril 2023 Talleres Queer Models/Autorepresentaciones Torcidas
Este proyecto, seleccionado por la convocatoria PC_Acts 2023 de la UPV, ha empezado con dos talleres sobre como jugar con el género como forma de activismo político, seguidos por una sesión de fotos a cargo de Martin Kámen para documentar una gran variedad de expresiones de género con participantes de la escena queer y trans de Valencia Los retratos serán la base de una exposición itinerante que se inaugurará en otoño en la UPV.

Nov/dic 2022 Exposición:Trans Territory
Exposición individual en el espacio de arte Fantastik Lab (Valencia) gestionado por artistas. A partir de grabaciones realizadas en diferentes paisajes se retrata la presencia trans en estos entornos no urbanos. La instalación es también una invocación lotech de un mundo sin fronteras entre pueblos, especies, clases o sexos. Quizás una manifestación de lo que aquí en España se llama "agroqueer". Las actividades paralelas incluyeron un taller de expresion vocal Cuir Cor, la presentación del catálogo de #Ecoqueerplanet y una sesión de videoarte “Raíces, tentáculos y purpurina”.

En el marco del festival Rihihui que celebra la cultura popular local con una perspectiva feminista, realizaremos un desfile festivo y ritual participativo en compañía de las majorettes de Santa Bárbara. Nos acompañará la banda municipal, Unió Musical Jaume Balmes, y Luzbel de Montiel, una drag queen local.

Parte del festival de poesía Vociferio producido en colaboración con el Carme Teatre (Valencia)

Diciembre 2021 Performance:Gala de Reconocimientos AVVAC
En el marco de las jornadas AVVAC en el Centro Octubre de Valencia, Graham, en el papel de La Ciskar, trans mc basada en la exdirectora del IVAM (Consuelo Ciscar), fue la anfitriona del acto de clausura, ua gala al estilo de una entrega de premios donde se reconocio el trabajo de diferentes sectores de la comunidad artística. Entre los "reconocides" se encontraban Rampova (artista), ideadestroyingmuros (colectivo), la Capella de Alcoy (espacio) y El Temps des Arts (prensa). En colaboración con el cineasta Jesús Peralta, La Ciskar promocionó las jornadas y la asociación en una serie de videos cortos.
Noviembre 2021 Conferencia Performativa:Enredos Ecoqueers
En el marco del simposio online AAAA* (Arte, Alianzas, Afectos y Algo Más) organizado por la Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche, Graham impartió una conferencia performativa basada en su obra que finalizó con una invitación a los asistentes a participar en un coro online participativo.
Octubre 2021 Exposición:Cómo Sanar...
En el marco de la bienal AVAN organizada por la Universidad de Castellón mi obra se incluyó en la exposición Les Cures, la Sabiduria...Alteritats (Cuidado, Sabiduría... Alteridad) en Abadia 7 (Vilafranca) donde también realicé la " Cómo sanar el ritual del Banco Mundial".
Julio 2021 Premio: Estrella
El increíble festival “Encuentros en el Mar” en las Islas Canarias nos honró con su Premio Estrella en reconocimiento al trabajo de Erreria (House of Bent) en la promoción (¡y creación!) del arte y la cultura queer y transfeminista.
Julio 2021 Performance:P.I.N.Q. Park la Gomera
La última ceremonia de apertura del P.I.N.Q. El proyecto del parque se llevó a cabo en el Jardín Botánico del Descubrimiento en la isla de La Gomera, cuyo nombre hace referencia al hecho de que Colón zarpó de allí en el famoso viaje de 1492 cuando “descubrió” el nuevo mundo de las Américas. La ceremonia incluyó una colaboración con una silbadora local que silbaba partes del texto en el lenguaje silbado único de la isla.

El libro alterado El Renaixement Mediterrani Queer (El renacimiento queer mediterráneo) se exhibe como parte de esta exposición colectiva que reúne trabajos relacionados con la experiencia de las disidentes sexuales/queers que viven en la zona del Mediterráneo.

Se basa en la colección de La Erreria, nuestra casa-museo en Xàtiva y rompe con las jerarquías habituales del mundo del arte mezclando obras de artistas queer y feministas con ensamblajes y artesanía.

Estoy súper contenta de participar en esta exposición con el video Confinement Rap. La exposición se inaugura en el Centro del Carmen de Cultura Contemporánea de Valencia el 22 de octubre y toda la obra también se retransmitirá online en un sitio web especialmente construido por la exposición.
Oct 2020 Exposición:Balak 11 (Francia)
Es genial fomrar parte del programa de cine ecosexual “The One Minutes” comisariado por Annie Sprinkle y Beth Stephens y mostrado como parte de la exhibición Balak 11 en los baños públicos en Charleville (Francia) junto a artistas como Ron Athey, John Waters, Sylvie Lehmers y Tom of Finland.
Septiembre 2020 Proyección:Let´s get Ecosexy!
Estreno en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Reykjavik de mi cortometraje ecosex seleccionado por Annie Sprinkle y Beth Stephens para formar parte de su programa Imagine the Earth is Your Lover patrocinado por The One Minutes.

El colectivo de arte cuir La Erreria (House of Bent) recibió el premio Museari 2020 para colectivos por nuestro activismo cultural a lo largo de los años.

Estamos muy contentos de formar parte del Dossier sobre ecologías queer, feministas y decoloniales, recientemente publicado, editado por Diana Giorgiu, Katie Goss y Sofia Vranou y coordinado por Cuntemporary Arts. Está basado en el increíble festival Ecofutures que organizaron en Londres en 2019. La publicación incluye textos de Anna Tokareva, Amelia Goldberg y Amanda Monti entre otros e incluye el artículo de Graham sobre The Participatory Rituals of Geyserbird
