DOCTORAL THESIS
The text (in english) of my Phd in Artistic Production and Research Natural Hysteria (a Queer Response to Ecocide): An exercise in Living Art, Participatory Rituals and Queer Ecology -or- How I discovered Geyserbird, the Transgender Shaman within(2018) with Juan Vicente Aliaga as tutor. Awarded the Premio Extraordinario de Tesis it is a practice led investigation which documents the process of production of a cycle of text based performances -rituals, street actions, theatrical presentations, and video presentations, songs and workshops. An artistic response to the deterioration of our environment and the attacks on cultural and biological diversity being carried out by a capitalist system based on the accumulation of wealth at all costs which is leading us to the border of an ecological collapse. It proceeds through an analyses of other dissident artistic practices which share a queer, feminist postcolonial or ecological perspective linking them to the concepts explored in my work in order to contextualise it in the expanded field of the contemporary arts. MASTER FINAL PROJECT
The text Histeria Natural: ritual, performance y ecología queer develops an ecotransfeminist critique of neoliberal capitalism and explores the theories of Lyn Margulis, Catriona Mortimer Sandilands and Greta Gaard amongst others, drawing parallels between my art practice and the ecosexual work of Beth Stephens, Annie Sprinkle and chicano performer Guillermo Gomez- Peña. It was carried out in 2012 with the tutors Juan Vicente Aliaga and Martina Botelles for the Master in Artistic Production at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. The ideas were further developped in my doctroal thesis but the original text -in Spanish- can be read here

Eco-Gender X / Eco-Género X: A (r)evolutionary project about Ecology and Gender from a queer perspective. The book, which contains over 100 photos, includes a prologue by Beth Stephens and Annie Sprinkle and texts by Graham Bell Tornado, Veronica Perales, William James and Diana J. Torres (La Pornoterrorista). Edited by Graham Bell and La Erreria (House of Bent) en 2019.
Impure is a La Erreria (House of Bent) project based on the artwork of Anna Maria Staiano. It was produced in collaboration with a host of photographers, writers, performers, artists, curators and feminist/queer/trans activists and includes various texts by Graham Bell Tornado.(Anna Maria Staiano, 2016)

Operaciones Transgeneros: drag, performance y representación en la época de la pantalla (Transgender Operations: drag, performance and representation in the age of the screen). Analysis of the lives and artistic practices of gender dissidents and their relationship with onscreen technologies.Transgender expressions are a form of rebellion within patriarchal societies which strictly control any form of sexual dissidence. This practice began to spill out of the private sphere in the period of sexual liberation in the 1960´s and 70´s, giving rise to a series of representations of gender in artistic practices, which combine life with art. This drag, historically associated with the theatre, finally burst onto the screen and into the streets. (Universitat Politècnica de València, 2015). El texto de mi tesis doctoral Natural Hysteria(a Queer Response to Ecocide): An exercise in Living Art, Participatory Rituals and Queer Ecology -or- How I discovered Geyserbird, the Transgender Shaman within (2018) con Juan Vicente Aliaga como tutor. Una investigación basada en mi práctica transdisciplinaria que documenta el proceso de producción de un ciclo de performances basadas en el texto: rituales, presentaciones teatrales, acciones callejeras y presentaciones de video, canciones y talleres. Es una respuesta artística al deterioro de nuestro medio ambiente y los ataques contra la diversidad cultural y biológica llevados a cabo por un sistema capitalista basado en la acumulación de riqueza a toda costa y que nos está llevando al borde de un colapso ecológico. Incluye un análisis de prácticas artísticas que comparten una perspectiva queer, feminista, postcolonial o ecológica que las vincula a los conceptos explorados en mi trabajo para contextualizarlo en el campo expandido de las artes contemporáneas. se puede leer (en inglés) aqui

Impure (2016) es un proyecto de la Erreria (House of Bent) basado en la obra de Anna Maria Staiano.
